Florida Bassoon Reeds was started in 2005 to make the best reeds available at affordable prices. Other mass-produced reeds are often not suitable in our humid, sea-level climate. Florida Bassoon Reeds are also excellent in altitudes up to 800 feet and anywhere there are hot summers or overall high humidity.
I have 26 years of reedmaking experience and do not sell “rejects” or use inferior cane. Florida Bassoon Reeds are handmade from the finest French cane and personally play-tested for quality. My reeds are suitable for young students through pro levels.
